About the IIMB Alumni Club

IIMBAA Professional Development Society is the legal entity that will operate the IIMB Alumni Club. The Society is Registered under the Karnataka Registration Act 1960. The objective of the Club is to provide social, cultural, recreational, educational, business networking and facilities for recreation and entertainment to its members.

Bona fide alumni of IIMB are eligible to avail Life Membership of IIMB Alumni Club.

IIMB Alumni Club is operated through the Management Committee (MC). The MC consists of nine members - The IIMBAA President, IIMBAA VP (Accounts, Finance and Legal) and IIMBAA Director for the Bangalore Chapter shall be ex-officio be the Members of the Management Committee. The other six members will be elected by the General Body. The members of the MC will elect a President, a Vice President, A Secretary and a Treasurer from among themselves.

Limited membership, Exclusive Experience

The IIMB Alumni Club Membership is a premium privilege. With a cap on the total number of memberships issued, the Club experience gets all the more exclusive.

FAQ

There are three kinds of Membership available:

  • Life Time membership (presently not available)
  • Term Membership
  • Corporate Membership

Yes! All alumni of IIMB are eligible for membership of the Club.

Sorry, the Club services are exclusive for members.  

The spouse of a member is granted a complimentary spouse membership with the same privileges as the member. Your spouse can avail the facilities even when you are not accompanying them. But children can use the membership only when they are accompanied by you or your spouse.

Extended family or friends can avail the facilities as guests accompanied by you or your spouse. We have a limit of up to 5 guests at a time with nominal guest charges.  

You can rent the banquet facility of the club and host a party for guests within the capacity of the banquet space. Other than the rent charges, no additional guest charges will apply when you hold a banquet.  

The lifetime membership is open only to IIMB alumni. Term (temporary) memberships and corporate memberships do not have any such restrictions and can be extended to alumni of other institutions as permitted by IIMBAA  

The membership has a lock-in period of 3 years after which the membership can be transferred. Kindly note that the life-time membership can be transferred only to IIMB Alumni. Any other rules/ levies on membership transfer will be notified by the MC of the club.  

Yes, that’s possible. Payment can be made from any legal source.
